This policy explains what information Stepan Fit (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website or contact us, how it is used, and the choices you have. Stepan Fit is a one-person, in-home assisted stretching business serving Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Information you give us
Contact form. The booking form on our Contact page does not send your details to our website or store them anywhere. When you press “Send via WhatsApp”, the details you entered (name, phone number, and optionally email, preferred date and time, and a message) are placed into a new WhatsApp message on your device. Nothing is shared until you choose to send that message in WhatsApp.
Messages and calls. When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone, email or Instagram, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, availability, and any details about your goals or physical condition that you tell us so we can tailor your session. Messages sent through WhatsApp or Instagram are also processed by Meta under WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy and Instagram’s Privacy Policy.
We use this information only to respond to you, schedule and deliver sessions, and keep in touch with you as a client.
Information collected automatically
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this website so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) and similar technologies to collect information such as:
- pages you view and how long you stay;
- how you arrived at the site (for example, a search engine or a link);
- your device type, browser and approximate location (city or region level);
- interactions such as clicking a WhatsApp, phone or email link, or submitting the contact form.
We do not send the contents of the contact form, or your name, phone number or email address, to Google Analytics. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We share information only:
- with service providers that help us run this website and our business (such as our hosting provider, Google for analytics, and Meta when you use WhatsApp or Instagram), who process it on our behalf or under their own privacy policies;
- if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
How long we keep it
Messages and client details are kept for as long as we work together and as needed for scheduling, record-keeping and legal obligations, after which they are deleted. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in our Google Analytics account, which is no longer than 14 months.
Your choices
- Cookies and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The website works fully without analytics cookies.
- Your information. You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details below.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive medical details unless they are needed for your session.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
